Stoneage got his nickname due to his liking for hitting things with big sticks and his less than modern attitudes and opinions. In his absence he has been permanently barred from PC World (they are so picky there…)
The group ran a competition to come up with a nickname for their bass player - and Bassey McBassface was the clear winner. There are rumours that there was only one entry,and that was from StoneAge Steve
Many people assume this is a spelling mistake,and should be “Ranking” Roger. In fact Raking got his nickname due to his love of gardening. His guitar hero is Madame Gazelle from the Rocking Gazelles…
Nobody knows quite who this is or where he spends most of his time. He appears when an extra instrument (saxophone, keyboards etc.) is required for one of the band’s recording sessions…
As you can see from the artist’s impression above, the boys have changed a little during their time on the island. However, they seem happy enough, and they keep on churning out the recordings, so we leave them to it. You can see profiles of the individual members below…..
